Over the next two days (September 14-15), Team BZ is proud to be participating in the 22nd HL7 FHIR Connectathon in Atlanta, GA!

Brian Book, President of BookZurman, and Caleb Long, Systems Engineer, will be attending this hands-on FHIR development and testing event to discuss CareNexus™ and gain insights on FHIR-based solutions and data exchange with other FHIR interfaces.

CareNexus, BookZurman's new care coordination and care planning solution, improves care quality and data management by connecting community-based providers and patients using a secure, cloud-hosted FHIR application infrastructure.

Dave Carlson, Team BZ's Solution Architect, will be leading the Connectathon's Patient-Centered Care Planning & Management track. The continuation of years of hard work, this track has seen a "steady growth of interest in applying evidence-based clinical practice guidelines at the point of care to create and share individualized patient care plans and to manage the ongoing care for patients with chronic disease."

Several members of Team BZ will be attending the 33rd Annual HL7 Plenary and Working Group Meeting immediately following the Connectathon. They include: Thomas Beale, Dave Carlson, Kathleen Connor, Joanne Dong, Ken Lord, Sean Muir, Ron Parker, Ioana Singureanu, Jason Smith, and Suzanne Webb.

If you would like more information about CareNexus or our work on patient-centered care planning and management, stop by and say hello during the Connectathon or drop your name below. We'll be in touch!
